We have to understand the deeper reason for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday to see that Jesus is truly worth it. Jesus died and rose again. The empty tomb says to us that Jesus didn’t want just our sins covered, but He wanted relationship with us forever. This Easter Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the forever love of Jesus Christ. At the cross and empty tomb, everything that seems forever becomes temporary and everything that seems temporary becomes forever when confronted by the resurrection power of Christ. There is nothing more forever, nothing more final, nothing more powerful than His Love for us.
God didn’t create us with any shame. When He looks at you, there is no sense of shame. This is the heart of our God—to come into every area of our lives and pour out His grace. How are we meant to get access to the wisdom that created all things? Jesus is our access to the throne of God where true wisdom lives.
