Generosity flows from a healthy heart. At C3 NYC’s staff meeting, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on giving with all our heart. Instead of calculating or holding back, we can have a lifestyle of generosity where we see our joy become other people’s freedom.

The Bible tells us to guard our hearts, and yet we often let social media, our friend’s opinions, our boss or romantic relationships be the surgeon who does heart surgery on your core identity. In our With All My Heart series, Pastor Josh shared a message asking, “How healthy is your heart?” When we invite God to search me and know me, we will develop a genuine faith and look forward to the future with a healthy heart.

In the scriptures, the psalms are not just filled with praise but lament. At C3 NYC’s staff meeting, Pastor Georgie Kelsey shared on the power of lament. When we allow ourselves to be unfiltered and raw before God, we grow in intimacy and faith. Through lament, we can see our prayers shift from being transactional to transformation!

Where we give our hearts, we give our lives. This Sunday, we kicked off our new series, With All My Heart, with Pastor Filmore teaching out of Jeremiah 29. Do we give our hearts to lesser loves? Because what grows in our treats will grow in our church and create a vision that will flow out to the city.

A life of faith looks forward. In Hebrews 11, we see that Abraham looked forward to a heavenly city, a vision beyond his own lifetime. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore preached on beginning with the end in mind. The way forward is through surrender and worship.
